Intel sets a date for the Innovation 2023 event for September 29

The Innovation is not strictly a product showcase event. The company has set a goal to gain interest from developers (hardware and software), architecture, technology managers, researchers, and influencers. It is not a typical launch event, but the last year’s Innovation keynote (which is usually on the first day) covered the whole portfolio of Intel products, from Xeon, Arc GPUs to client Core series. More importantly, Pat Gelsinger revealed the new 13th Gen Core K-series during this event.

It is a perfect time and opportunity to reveal the next instalment for the Core series, in the form of Raptor Lake Refresh, also known as 14th Gen Core series. The timing for the updated Raptor has not been confirmed yet. However, early reports suggested that we should expect news around late Q3, which is typically when Intel launches its new K-series.

There is a chance Intel might also provide an update to its roadmaps and hopefully tell us more about the next Arc GPU series codenamed Battlemage, or at least tell us more about the Alchemist+.

Intel did not confirm if Innovation 2023 will feature a keynote this year, but the date has been set for September 19-20. This in-person event will take place in San Jose (USA); however, we should expect a live stream as well.
