Druid specializations made through skill upgrades and gear are all straightforward enough. However, one new Druid-specific feature in Diablo 4 is the concept of Spirit Boons. You can unlock these passive effects to mix and match once you reach Level 15. This is the same for all classes unlocking their specializations, including the Barbarian, the Necromancer, the Rogue, and the Sorcerer

Druidic Spirit Offerings

These little curios will start dropping right after you hit Level 15. They're totally random and can be found anywhere at any time. Just be sure to pick up any that you might see, because you're going to need 400 Spirit Offerings altogether to max out your Spirit Boons. Unfortunately, they aren't subject to the auto-pickup effect that applies to things like gold or potions. So, be sure to pick them up manually until you hit 400. Since Diablo 4 is quite a long game with tons of content, that won't take too long at all. Diablo 4 is filled with items that you may not know what to do with at first, such as Potent Blood and Nightmare Sigils. When looking for Spirit Offers, you don't need to worry about farming specific enemy types or locations like with Scattered Prisms and Red Dust

Spirit Animal Boons

Once you reach Level 15 your Journal will automatically update with the Spirits of the Lost Grove quest. Follow through with that Druids-only quest, and that will unlock access to Spirit Animals and their Boons. There are four different Spirit Animals for Druids to embody in Diablo 4: Snake, Eagle, Wolf, and Deer. Each Spirit Animal offers 4 potential Boons to choose from. Some of these are general buffs that benefit all builds, whereas others are specific to certain builds like Nature casters or Werewolves. All of them can be extraordinarily useful when starting a Druid.

Each Druid Boon costs 25 Spirit Offerings for the Deer, Eagle, and Wolf Spirits. Since each animal gives up to 4 Spirit Boons, that means the total cost to fully unlock each is 100 Spirit Offerings. The Snake Spirit requires you to pay the full 100 all at once just to see what its Boons' effects are. Coincidentally, this Spirit's Boons are also the most specialized for particular builds. Once you know exactly what it is you are aiming for, you can build towards your preferred play style, regardless if said build uses your Werebear or Werewolf form.
