The code, which The Verge confirmed, was uncovered in the alternative text that describes the GIF for the Apple event and mentions a “Pencil Pro” several times. A version of the text translated by Google reads:

Conversely, the alternative text for Apple’s website in the US (and in other regions) describes the image as showing an Apple Pencil — not an Apple Pencil Pro. It’s possible that this was just a mistake and that the person entering the alternative text meant to write the Apple Pencil. The Verge reached out to Apple with a request for comment but didn’t immediately hear back.

Apple is expected to show off new iPads during its “Let Loose” event on Tuesday. Rumors also suggest that Apple could introduce a refreshed Apple Pencil with interchangeable magnetic tips and a squeeze gesture.
